Tyler's Locker
Tyler’s Locker is a program of the P.O.W.E.R. of Play Foundation that exists through a partnership between the Foundation, Proehlific Park, Greensboro Police Department and Greensboro Parks and Recreation. Tyler’s Locker collects new and used sports equipment and then distributes the equipment to youth in need in the Triad.
Tyler’s Locker is the dream of Greensboro Police Captain, John Wolfe, and his son, Tyler. Together they came up with the idea as a way for kids to give back to kids. When youth are occupied, juvenile crime decreases. Tyler’s Locker provides the equipment local youth need to be able to play at home or even in their own neighborhood recreation leagues.
Donate: New and Used Sports Equipment can be donated at any time at Proehlific Park, 4517 Jessup Grove Rd., Greensboro, NC 27410
Tyler’s Locker hosts equipment drop off days throughout the year. Please check back for upcoming dates.
Distribution: Tyler’s Locker distributes the equipment it receives through Lindley Recreation Center. Distribution days are also held throughout the year for those in need to receive equipment. Please check back for upcoming events.
